Titus 2:13 looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ, The Lord has told us that He is coming back in John 14, so are we supposed to be sitting around doing nothing, twiddling our thumbs? By no means, in fact we should be excited that He is coming soon! We should be excited that we are the Benjamin generation! We are the last generation that will be alive if we live to see the Lord coming in the air. When is the last time you had such a hope, a hope with expectation? Titus calls the coming of the Lord, the blessed hope. In Romans 5 it has a great deal to say about hope, and it tells us that hope does not disappoint. The event will be so spectacular that there is no we can even describe it. That is just the event, but the greatest feat of the entire experience will be the glorious appearing of our Great God and Savior Jesus Christ. Titus 2:13 which speaks of "looking for the blessed hope and glorious appearing of our great God and Savior Jesus Christ". This "blessed hope" refers to the certainty of Christ's second coming and the glorification of believers when he returns. It is a future promise that inspires believers to live a sober, righteous, and Godly life in the present. So, what should the Child of God be doing as the Lord is getting ready to return? Let me give you some things I believe the Lord wants happening in our lives. Stay in the Word. The word of God is the driver’s manual for knowing the will of God. Romans 12:2 And do not be conformed to this world, but be transformed by the renewing of your mind, that you may prove what is that good and acceptable and perfect will of God. Have an active Prayer Life. Pray without ceasing, making sure that you and the Lord are on the same page. Be alert. The Lord Himself as told us in the Mt. Olives Prophesy that the first sign of His coming was the deception of people. Be ready to share your faith. There is not a person in our church who doesn’t have somebody that doesn’t know the Lord. It is time that you go to them as the Bible says “The night is far spent and the day is at hand”. Pastor Lee Cruse who doesn’t see how anyone can look around at the situation world- wide and in our own country and not believe that the Lord God Almighty is getting ready to look over to His Son and say “go get your Bride”. Maranatha “come quickly Lord Jesus”!!!!!!!
